Hi Synapse,
I've just discovered and fell in love with Zampler. I've noticed there are a few branded versions of it, but no 'original Synapse' version.
- Can you tell me if there is going to be one? It's a fantastic tool, I'm inclined to call it a Nexus rival
- Are there any updates planned? As far as I can tell the last one was 2012?
- Can you tell me which sfz opcodes Zampler supports? At the moment I have read somewhere only key and velocity? Does it support loop and/or other opcodes?
Seriously, I was surprised by this one, really awesome. A 'poor man's Nexus' for sure. Was pleasantly surprised it was coded by Synapse and almost shocked it is free. Have had (stll have) a lot of fun with your Dune synth, the CM magazine version.
regards, Frank

Re: Three Zampler questionsThere was an update recently...rex support. Its a pretty basic sfz player, using the Dune1 engine. I doubt the free version will get much in the way of new feature updates. Hopefully it will get much better sfz support and be a full blown commercial sample player...

Re: Three Zampler questionsHi Kriminal,
Ok, thanks I think I've got that version though, since I only discovered it this week. Says has rex support I think it's brilliant and indeed should be further developed and at least also be available in Synapse branding right here. Maybe not as comlicated, but with onboard modulations and fx pretty useable imo. Anybody know a list of supported opcodes in sfz? Does it support groups, round robin? regards, Frank
