Just checked DUNE2's envelopes and they switch on in one sample, that is 22.6 microseconds at 44100 Hz. That is what I would define mathematically as snapping on
To put that in context, most well known analogue synths are in the region of 1-5 milliseconds or >40 times slower!
Anyway, here's my bass patch donation:

Thanks for the patch. It is a nice punchy bass, but in comparison to my Virus a i must say that it cannot compete. Not only that it is much harder to find a good adjustment on the envelopes in DUNE 2, the virus also just has more punch without having to sync the oscillator's phases.
Can you post a sample of an example of a Virus patch that shows this?
Here is an example of the Virus A

Yes but Virus envelopes trigger before you even think about hitting a key..........

I cheated.....I took Richard's Avalon Light Patch and turned off the Arp and programmed a simple sequence similar to the Virus examples posted before......I think it proves D2 is more than capable............ The only thing I didn't do is sweep the cutoff.....
WTF........."The extension .mp3 is not allowed" ? Ok here's a zip...........
