Hi,
I wanted to know what the LFO offset does in Dune 2. Does it shift the phase of the modulating wave? Sorry if this is posted multiple times but I can't see my topic anywhere on the forum. Thanks

Re: Dune 2 LFO offset? At the centre offset position, the LFO will have a range of -100-to-+100. When the offset is at a minimum the range will be -100-to-0, whilst maximum offset will be from 0-to+100. The effect of this is best heard/visulaized by setting osc1 to wavetable with the default sine, saw, square wavetable. Set wavetable position to 50% In the mod matrix set LFO1 +100 Osc1 WT Position. Now go to LFO1 and set the rate at something reasonably slow e.g., 0.1-0.2 Hz with Fade-In at a minimum and offset at 0% (in the middle of it's range). You should here the wavetable scanning from sine-through-saw-through-square and back again. Now set offset to -100%. It will now only scan through sine-to-saw-to-sine etc. Setting offset to +100% will result in scanning from saw-to-square-to-saw and back to square.
Re: Dune 2 LFO offset?Hey,
First post after getting Dune 2, great work here Was going through all the functionality and got to the LFOs: when scanning through WTs, starting a 0% position and +100 mod amount, LFO amount 100% and offset 0, the LFO only scans through to 50% on the WT - eg. using the default WT goes sine-saw and back. Tried a similar test with cutoff mod and same - from 0-50% rather than all the way through to fully open. Using a MSEG gives me full range - what do I need to do to get this with the LFOs? Had a search around and this post below seems to suggest it's possible. Thanks!
Re: Dune 2 LFO offset?Hey - any thoughts on this? cheers
