error: patch requires DUNE v2.21

Since installation of DUNE 2.5 I see the error in subject with multiple patches when trying to load them. For example with "Avalon Light RH" (so directly after loading the VST) or "99 Luftbalons". Most are loading correctly. Is this a known issue?

Yes, I've noticed that. I'm sure that minor bug will be removed at some point

Try using version 2.501 all those patches load fine here.
