I am obviously a novice but I just don't get it. Are Dune2 and Legend stand-alone programs or do they run inside of Orion? Is the documentation sufficient for a novice like me to learn how to use these programs?

Re: Dont understand Dune 2 and Legend
They are VST plugins. They work inside hosts that support plugins, like Orion, ProTools, Cubase, Studio One, FL Studio, and so on. You basically load then inside these programs. Now, whether you'll know how to work with them or not, the documentation is there to provide basic information what's what. It won't really tell you how to program your own sounds. For that, you will need to have at least the basic knowledge of how synthesizers work, and what's what on them. I would advise you to download demo versions from this page, try them out and see if they suit your needs. Cheers! SoundCloud ::: Facebook
Re: Dont understand Dune 2 and Legendyou should buy an issue of computer music magazine, there is some beginner tutorial in every issue

Re: Dont understand Dune 2 and LegendOr type in "sythesizer basics" or "synthesizer tutorials" on youtube. Or you do it like me and many other people who didn`t have some kind of "mentor": just use and try some (demo)synths VSTs yourself and see how your skills increase in just a few hours
