How to install Hydra presets

Postby remdale » Wed Apr 12, 2017 7:33 pm

Hello. I found some preset collection in fxb format for Hydra. Tell me please, how could I install those presets to make the plugin see them?

You need to load them through your DAWs preset management. The .fxb files are banks for the VST standard.
In most hosts it is pretty straightforward. Chime in if you're having troubles.

That was a commercial soundset and if memory serves me correctly I was involved in that project. Where "on the web" did you find it ?

Thanks Chris ! :)

I know that when Frank (TOTC) retired from the business after getting his Law Degree we agreed to set all of our Pro Sounds collaboration banks free. I seem to remember this bank was a collaboration and perhaps Xenos was involved as well but I might me mistaken. I don't have Hydra installed anymore to check and the bank is buried somewhere on an old hard drive. Anyway I can't be sure if Frank ever set this bank free or not...... :?

I'm glad to use the presets for free. So may I ask you how to import them into Studio One? It says "One preset file was imported. But it's not a preset for Hydra".
Just to be sure the files are working, FL Studio has no problem importing them.

But you've just told that they are free. Besides I cannot buy them anymore. So why do you still care about where I got the files from?

Just asking that question,,,,, Its a moral thing. Although, I blame today's society. A number of years ago I trawled all over the net to buy an Adobe product for my son's sixth form school work and was quite chuffed I'd got a bargain. Then in conversation with his teacher, she informed me most pupils had cracked versions and she could have given me the address :!: :!: :!: :!:
