Audio Units under OS X High Sierra (10.13)

We get quite a few emails about High Sierra and Audio Units lately, so a small sticky about High Sierra.

If you use OS X 10.13 (High Sierra), Audio Unit (AU) plug-ins may not be visible after installation. To address this issue, please reboot your computer or log out and log in after installation, and all plug-ins should be visible. Note that this issue seems to occur for AU plug-ins from other companies as well.

Besides this issue, our plug-ins run fine under OS X High Sierra.

Also note that the latest High Sierra update, OS X 10.13.2, seems to fix an issue with GarageBand and AU plug-ins.
