Problems with Dune 2 AAX and can't update to 2.6

I'm having big problems getting the AAX version of Dune 2 to work properly in ProTools 2018 on 10.11.6. First of all I've downloaded the latest 2.6 version but on installing it, the installer tells me it's version 2.5?? This is confirmed on the about screen. How do I get v2.6?

Secondly every time the plug in is loaded as an insert in Pro Tools the sound is distorted. If you stop the transport, move the Insert to another slot it is OK again. But it reverts to distorted output every time the session runs out of CPU or is loaded again. This is a big problem. Can someone help please...

DUNE 2 AAX has not been updated to version 2.6 yet. The biggest change in 2.6 is the NKS support, and that is not directly related with AAX. About the other issue, we will look into it, though at first glance it does not happen here.

OK well you need to be clearer in your documentation about what is or isn't 2.6.

Regarding the problem, the same issue was reported back in 2016 on this thread. viewtopic.php?f=1&t=11869 and I see that wasn't resolved either.

I would appreciate if someone from Synapse looks into this more seriously, it's a big bug. The AAX verison of Dune 2.5 does not work properly in Pro Tools 12 or 2018. Others must be having the same issue. Audio is distorted every time a session containing this plug in is launched.
