Legend RE crossgrade?

I have heard several people on KVR say there is a cross-grade available for Legend users who buy the Rack Extension version to receive an NFR VST version of the plug-in. Before I purchase the RE, could Synapse confirm the crossgrade is still valid and how to go about getting the VST version after I buy the RE? Thanks!
