I'm not quite understanding what the "Const" modulation source does in Dune 2. I know what it says in the Dune 2 manual, but I still don't quite grasp what it does and the best way to use it.
Is there a vid on this somewhere? I've seen several how to vids covering the mod matrix, but no one used the "Const" option in their examples.
Would like to better understand what this does exactly.
Thanks

Re: Dune 2 "Const" modulatorit means constant
ie: const > 25 > osc phase means the osc always starts at phase 25 Windows 11 Home - 12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-12400 2.50 GHz -32GB RAM

Re: Dune 2 "Const" modulator
That much I understood, but I'm not sure the best way to use it. Also, in your example, I would take constant to mean "starts at 25 and STAYS at 25". But I don't think that's right either. So far the only thing I've used it for is to apply to the "Semi" of Oscs to raise or lower an octave. But surely there more creative uses for it.
Re: Dune 2 "Const" modulatorits not that versatile but its useful for things that dont have a dedicated knob
layer volume, layer pan, osc phase reset etc Windows 11 Home - 12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-12400 2.50 GHz -32GB RAM
