I see where the ARP midi files are, under presets -> patterns and I can find that directory. But where are the default MIDI files like on 001: Adrenaline KS -> "AdrenalineFinal" is the midi file that gets loaded on default. I'd love to find these, both to apply them to other presets but also directly load in my DAW as well if possible.
Thanks!

Re: Where are preset default MIDI files?they are locked within the preset, you have no access to them.

Re: Where are preset default MIDI files?Initialize patch, load a sine wave, load the midi file, stream, open up in the trial edition of Melodyne and extract the midi via polyphonic algorithm
Re: Where are preset default MIDI files?Or just program your own sequences instead.
Take one of those patches and simply turn the Arps Off. Then program your own note sequences in the Piano Roll of your DAW.
Re: Where are preset default MIDI files?or open 2 instances and copy the voices from the sound patch you want to use and paste to the patch with the arp you want to use

Re: Where are preset default MIDI files?Probably easier is to turn off all fx and solo one oscillator and load up a sine wave. You want it dry and a sine. It's easier for the software to read the notes when its simple sine waves.
To me, the idea of wanting the midi files implies one wants to tweak the midi or learn from it. If Synapse had a lock feature, that'd be nice to try out the melody for different presets while scrolling.
Re: Where are preset default MIDI files? Thanks for the answer! Odd choice to embed the midi notes into the preset?
I can extract the notes from just hearing it, I just liked the potential for extremely quick auditioning different midi files rather than recreating them from scratch by hearing, and not sure if velocity is factored in which is harder to replicate without the values. Thanks for the response.
Re: Where are preset default MIDI files?
I believe it was done out of respect to the sound designers who might not want their sequences used in other patch collections.
Re: Where are preset default MIDI files?
Why? The preset isn't much good without it and the likelihood is that the info is not stored in MIDI file format, so it would need to be converted to be kept separate in a useful way. To me it seems like the obvious, if not the only choice. Dell G7 (Hexa-Core i7)|Cubase Pro 10||Analog Keys|Ultranova|MicroMonsta|Uno|Skulpt|Craft Synth 2.0|
