Dune3 Installer not working

When i try to install Dune 3 it errors when trying to create a RegEdit

i dont want to install as Admin as i never run my PC as admin - I can install as admin but obviously thats not desirable
Also the 64 bit version dosent apear to be vieable for some reason

So i need to know why this regkey is locked or not allowing modification seams to be trying to install in the Native instruments Reg Key location/

Error creating registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Native Instruments|SynapseDune3\

RegCreateEx failed; code 5
Access denied

PS. why is it trying to write to Native Instruments?

It has to do with the NKS presets for Dune. The reg entry points to Documents\Synapse Audio\Dune 3\NKS.

We are all running the 64 Bit version without issue.

In regards to running as Admin I've been running as Admin on all my studio computers for years for just this type of situation. Some software needs to be run as Admin. Nothing to fear here.

I am a standard user i would never run my PC in admin - this is strange because i ran Dune 2 without issues

So now my when i try to install Dune 2 i cannot re install

i am without Synth any one got any ideas?

Yes stop being paranoid and just run as Admin. I have never had any issues and I've always run as Admin.

Notice how no one else is complaining about the same issue ?

I did what you said changed my account to admin i still get the error message

We just uploaded an optional new installer which does not install the NKS library, this one should work for you.

The full installer with the NKS library requires admin access, in order to write the necessary registry entries (this is where the error messages are coming from in your case).
