Dune 3: Only default skins selectable

Hi All,

I wanted to use the light skin on Dune 3, but it doesn't appear to be selectable from the Skin menu (only the Default/Small/Large/Huge options appear).

I've renamed the directory on the Light skin from Light Huge to Huge and selecting it works, but I'm confused as to why the other options aren't appearing.

When I installed the demo previously, the other skin selections were appearing.

Has anyone else run into this problem and has a fix available? I can live with it, but it is annoying.

First of all are you on Windows or Mac?

All of the skin options show and can be selected here on Windows including user skins:

What version of DUNE 3 are you using? The latest version is 3.512

if you are using the demo version, all skin sizes are not included iirc...

I'm on Windows, my selector looks different to yours.

I'm assuming that something has gotten messed up after installing the demo. I uninstalled it but I assume it's left something behind. Any thoughts on fixing this?

Uninstall again then manually delete the Synapse Audio> DUNE 3 folders (back up any personal files).

Then reinstall the latest version. You can set a custom folder for the plugin but let the support files install where they want.

I just installed the latest demo version on another system and all the skins are available. You must have installed an older demo version.

Don't right click. You will only get the sizes.

You have skin selection menu on the main screen.

Right click only shows skins in the User Folder here because I have a skin from that folder selected. Seems like it should show all skins from all folders.

But you've nailed it. All the skins are probably there for him he's just right clicking instead of changing from where it says Skin under global settings on the main tab.

I only have a skin I'm working on in my User folder, and it's not showing when I right click, so I thought right click just shows sizes for currently selected skin... or something to that effect.

Yes that appears to be the case, if you select the Gray skin for example then right click only shows the sizes for that skin, same for the Light skin, User shows whatever is in the folder. Only the skins in the folder where the skin you're currently using show.

Seems like right click should show all options to avoid confusion but to be honest I never right click for any reason.

The obvious way to change skins is from the Global Options as you have shown above.

Cheers for the help. It feels a little unintuitive to have two different ways to select stuff that work differently, but we got there in the end.
