Ok, the release is official now. Updating the main page and sending out the newsletter.
The Dune product page is located here:
www.synapse-audio.com/dune.php
The page gives some general info, there is sub pages on the left menu which give more detail info. There will be more sub pages, e.g. for the arpeggiator and other special features. I started by describing just the engine and tech specs. Feel free to post questions here, as it is a quite complex beast
A note about the MP3 demos. They are direct patch demos without any processing applied, and were made by forum resident DaZoid. You can easily find the patches he used in the demo or full version of Dune, as the MP3 track names correspond to the patch names.
p.s. added this new Plugins subforum, as until now there was no real place for instrument talk.

Dune VST/AU releasedI simply havent the means or funds... dammit.. host a contest for Dune as a price.. be it preset creation... that way i can get it honestly without having to leech it from demonoid... know truly if i had million dollars id pay 10 grand to it..... i will surely trick my parents into getting it for christmas if absolutely necessary.. also.. i might become pizza maker again.. so with curency coming that way.. sure.. no problem. just get to work on ORION 8 as well.. and damnit all to hell...
ORION 8 NEEDS easy access to listen to music loops.. like FL STUDIO BROWSER.. for gods sake.. atleast get the code from free vsti to match something close... i mean one click and preview the sample.. whether the play button is on or off. also...MAKE IT WAY EASIER TO STACK AND SPLICE LOOPS. MAYBE BEEF UP THE DRUM RACK OR SOMETHINGS.. also take pointers on CUBASES.... THINKGY maygeeger.. forgot the name.. peace ufo.. you are the best.. so funny and make me laugh.. also.. welcome rob lee..... i have my eye on you
Dune VST/AU releasedYou can already preview samples in the File Open dialog for sampler and DrumRack, so you don't need a dedicated, redundant browser. It is already ridiculously easy to stack loops in DrumRack and splicing them is something far more suited to an audio editor, so do it there.
It seems to me that you just need to learn how to use Orion, rather than expecting someone else to make it work the way you want. Dell G7 (Hexa-Core i7)|Cubase Pro 10||Analog Keys|Ultranova|MicroMonsta|Uno|Skulpt|Craft Synth 2.0|

Dune VST/AU releasedSingle problem there is - at KVR the bitching around was so very loud over years, always from the same one or two users, that every Orion- or mastersynths-related topic sees nearly the same people writing. You get 15 pages or something, and if you cut out the two shouting boys and then us humble users like teksonik, grymmjack and a 10 more, there is not so much talk about the synths. It's all home-made...start a forum for snobs, for people who take every differing opinion as an insult, support them and do nothing against it for seven years - and you drive yourself into a corner.
Then you start lowering prices for Orion, but it's much work to be done....at least at KVR. I know a lot of people who really would not buy from Synapse due to the lousy user support. It's a fact, even if friendly people now run the forum... But of course good luck with the synth, maybe there are aplenty of new users out there who don't know the ridiculous past, and maybe a great synth is the way to get out of the corner called "underrated" by friends and "ah, these nerds again" by others...

Dune VST/AU releasedTo my ears Proxyma DG is one of the most awesome sounds I've heard on a softsynth!
