you can, select level dB/volume and voice number

Fat knob increases CPU usage, it may not always be obvious though.
About the voice combinations, not all are needed or useful, 6+7+8 would require a 8-unison patch and have no meaning otherwise. Also, suppose you needed 6+7+8 for some reason, you could construct an equivalent patch using 1+2+3 instead.
Regarding another mod env, note you can modulate the envelope parameters too, so in theory you could have 8 different mod envelopes per patch, or 24 when counting the filter and amp too. I use the ability to modulate envelopes in my analog drum patches (e.g. Kick 909). They use the mod envelope for the main pitch sweep effect and several different amplitude envelopes on the individual parts.

I like 8 unison patches It would just be convenient to have that option right there. Since it's just an option, it can't hurt to have it available.. But no biggie
Thanks for your answers and glad that some of my suggestions were helpful
I've tried the demo version of DUNE and got impressed with it's sound quality and GUI, but it'll be very interesting to post some samples of similar patches of DUNE and some popular hardware synth: Blofeld, Nord Lead and Access Virus. Modern day CPUs are so powerful, that it's already time to match new soft synths quality to the best hardware synths in every aspect.
Hmmm I'm going to post this here rather than in Bug Reports since it must certainly be an issue specific to my setup.
I've just tried DUNE in Orion 7.62 for the first time and whenever I try to save a patch the window doesn't open and instead goes to the task bar. When I try to name a patch the window simply closes. I also get an odd corruption of DUNE's GUI where the Osc wave selection box gets much larger:
I can't imagine these problems exist for other users of DUNE/Orion or it would have never got past the beta team................Must be something here but I can't imagine what.

On another note.........I was messing with the vsti version of Energy XT's Arp module. I like this method of placing notes rather than note names...............
I doubt something like this would make it into DUNE but I plan to use Energy's Arp to help create patterns in DUNE. It also allows Midi input from a keyboard. I'll post the results when I get a few done.
EDIT: Here's the patch using the pattern shown above. Notice I could only get the name to "WI" before the save patch window closed. Was going to name it WIP for work in progress...............

i had that as soon as the patch/bank save was added to the actual GUI, and i reported it....needless to say i never use the GUI to save/load presets. I aslo had the 'large OFF' thing too...all this in Orion, and it was all reported in the beta forum.
BTW, this also happens with a couple of other VST's i had, minimonsta was one i think, where the save window would shoot down to the taskbar....

That's good to know it's not just me..........
I'll work in Beta 8 to see if I can help reproduce the issue. I really like using DUNE's built in patch management system so this is an issue I'd like to help sort............
I cannot believe how powerful this synth is. I've only had the full version a few hours and already my ears are bleeding. Been programming in some really grimey leads and you get a whole lotta smack for hardly any CPU whack.
Just one thing, is there any way to decrease selection sensitivity in teh arp section when altering the notes ? Thankfully I have a G5 mouse with on the fly adjusting, but even that can be a bit too sensitive ?
