DUNE doesn't show up in Mixcraft

Hey all,

DUNE doesn't seem to load in Mixcraft 5 (latest build). It detects it, but when you select it nothing happens. If I remember correctly I had the same problem with X-Poly.

I can't find the details but I think Mixcraft supports VST2.4, Fxpansions Geist is working perfectly in there and thats a pretty new VST as well...

Not gonna even bother with a demo that puts .dll files in my system folders before the installation even started

I can vouch for it mate, I've been using it since v3 and had no problems / dodgy things happen.

I can't get this thing to run.
It kept hanging on some DirectX effects, then displaying that PolyOptionsDialog.dll was missing from my computer. I kept shutting it down forcefully during its startup, then starting it again, and every time it seems like it passed on the plugin it hung on previously, just to hang on something else.

I'll keep trying, but I'm both running out of time and nerves with this thing.

So, here's a brief sum of things.

After endless hanging on plugins, forced terminations, prolonged performance issues during the try-to-start period, and even 2 BSODs, I'm just simply gonna remove this demo from my system, and hope I'll never have to install it again. In over 5 years that I've been here on this forum, Orion never gave me this much trouble in the quantity Mixcraft gave me in one afternoon, which is now completely wasted on the damn thing just trying to make it start. It's simply absurd.

I'm sorry I can't test this for you, those 2 BSODs were quite enough for me.

Sorry to hear that mate, I really do appreciate you trying.

I've got to say tho I've never had one issue with Mixcraft, never crashed / BSOD'ed for me, bloody strange thats for sure.
