Hi Everyone! I think It's a good idea to lay some words about our wishes of new function of DUNE.
As for me, first of all I want to solve this problem: when I save my presets or banks - default filename extension is *.* Not *.fxp* or a *.fxb*. So, sometimes I loose my work because presets are not saved when stands this (*.*) default extension. May be this problem will solved in next update?

DUNE next update wishlistI work on Cubase 5 in Windows7 32bit.
Re: DUNE next update wishlistWhat's the normal behaviour when saving presets or banks in Cubase? And how does it know which one you want to do at that point?
Re: DUNE next update wishlistOk, may be it's my personal bug, I'm sorry... Again? when I try to save Dune Patch (I press PATCH and choose SAVE PATCH) and type any name:
See this default extension Any Type *.* ? So, when I press Save button - nothing saves, but if I choose *.fxp* in that window - my preset will be saved secsessfully. I want *.fxp* already set when I save Patch and *.fxb* when I save Bank. This is my first wish I work on Cubase 5 in Windows7 32bit.
Re: DUNE next update wishlistSave the patronising reply for someone else. I simply asked what normal behaviour was in Cubase and how it knows whether you want fxp or fxb. How do other VSTi's work? Do they know what you want to save as? Does Cubase have different icons for saving presets/banks?
Re: DUNE next update wishlist
Yes, of course! Other synths works fine on my system. For example if i choose "save preset" in Sylenth1 - ".fxp" is alreday set in "save" window, more to say - there is no other variants to chose from any other file type. So, enyone have this bug (or not a bug?) like me, or I am alone with this ability? PS. And sorry for my English, it's not my main language I work on Cubase 5 in Windows7 32bit.
Re: DUNE next update wishlistDon't quite get this, if you click on Any type (*.*) does it give you the choice of fxp and fxb in the drop down menu or not?
Re: DUNE next update wishlist
Yes, it does. When I save preset I have a choice (*.*) or (*.fxp*) and when I save a bank I have a choice (*.*) or (*.fxb*) But It is in DUNE only, that's why I think that is a DUNE problem. When I save presets in other VSTi's I have no choice - only *.fxp* (and this is good!), when I save bank in other VSTi's - same thing, no choice, only *.fxb* So, it would be nice for me, if Dune can make same thing I work on Cubase 5 in Windows7 32bit.
Re: DUNE next update wishlistIIRC the file dialog is invoked via the host on Windows. Looks like this works correctly in every host except in Cubase, hm...it can be fixed though by not letting Cubase handle the dialog box.
