Re: Is there any new synths coming please
I owned a Roland GM 70/ GR 2 Guitar to Midi interface/pickup many years ago.......long before softsynths. the tracking was a bit wonky but it was fun......sold it rather quickly...... I'd be interested to see if tracking would improve based on Audio Input rather than generating Midi Notes based on peak to peak analysis..........

Unfortunately the key words are .......No Longer Available.....
Re: Is there any new synths coming pleaseAs far as I gather from experimenting with 0 crossing counters detecting guitar string pitch from hex pickup, what does improve if you use the crossing counter's freq to drive an oscillator instead of MIDI, is the speed that it responds. I have a Roland GI-20, and it is not quick enough to strum really. The latency is sluggish compared to my experiments in SynthMaker. The tracking is quite good(both with Roland and Ubertar hex), I use an Ubertar hex now, and there is a problem with bleed which screws chord tracking up a little. We are working on it. What we will do is use mu-metal shields around the magnets to see if helps alleviate bleed. I have a Roland GK3 hex I can use, but prefer the mounting and passivity of Ubertar. It is very easy to mod a strat nice and clean.
If Synapse is interested in building an effect with 6 inputs which is a guitar synth, I am happy to share my experience.
Re: Is there any new synths coming pleaseThere will surely be more effects and synths coming in the future. But the obvious answer is to look at Dune. It's the greatest of Synapse Audio synthesis. Some forms of gear lust may also actually hinder the creative flow though. Going deeper with what we already have is sometimes the best way to move forward.
