Im considering buying Dune, instead of Sylenth1, mainly because the great christmasoffer and the fact that it seems like sylenth1 is like "forgotten" and not updated since 08. Im not much of a soundesigner, so all the great sylenth1 soundsets really tempts me to buy sylenth1 over dune.
On the other hand, i believe Dune is much more future proof, and nevertheless: Dune has more possibilites. Anyways, my questions:
1. If i buy dune & Eks pro for 99 bucks, will i be able to resell them (transfer licenes) later on, *even individually?
2. Are the future updates for free?

Re: A couple of questions regarding purchaseboth synths though VA's have a different feel to it....yes its a good offer...but not a replacement for sylenth1 or other way round
Re: A couple of questions regarding purchase
1. Hard to say. There's been cases where Richard allowed the license transfers due to re-selling, so he would really have to answer on that one. One thing to remember, you can't upgrade and then sell old license, being that the old license is the ground for the upgrade. 2. Updates, yes. Upgrades, depends. All updates within the same version number (ie Dune 1.0 - 1.9) are free, automatically available for download in your Support/Service section on this site. It's different story for upgrades (ie Dune 1.x to Dune 2). Usually, there is an upgrade fee, and more than often there are discounts (if you're an Orion user, for example), then the holidays discounts and so on. Than again, if Rich decides, upgrading to Dune 2 might be free. It's ultimately his choice, although chances are it will be a paid upgrade. But it has and most likely will be free within the same version. SoundCloud ::: Facebook
Re: A couple of questions regarding purchase@Enixity - please download Demo and try DUNE and EKS Pro before you decide to take advantage of xmas offer. I really believe that after few tryes you'll be satisfied with both synthesizers
Re: A couple of questions regarding purchaseThanks for all the answers guys.

Re: A couple of questions regarding purchaseWith educational license, apart from being a NFR, you're also not allowed to use it in a commercial purposes.

Re: A couple of questions regarding purchaseAt the time being, we transfer full licenses, with two exceptions:
- All Educational versions are exempt - All NFR (not for resale) licenses are exempt The latter are typically licenses won in competitions, in charity auctions, given to other developers, etc. So the answer is yes, you could transfer the bundle later. We don't like splitting service accounts, however, as it is quite a hassle. Better would be to transfer the whole bundle. Admin - Synapse Audio Software
