Hello everybody, my name is Tim, I'm new here.
I have the following problem and I wonder if some one can help me.
I just bought the EKS Pro, Installed it, opened a Cubase (SX) file, selected the EKS in my VST instr.list. and it popped up in my screen. It makes drumsounds when I hit the tap button and every button works, so far no problem.
But then I want to link it to a midichannel but it's not in the list of VST's who I can choose. Other softsynths do apear in the list.
Does anyone know the solution for this problem.
p.s. The strangest thing is if I update my software list under devices (plugin info), the EKS is the only synth with a 1 behind the [V]. If I click on that it says synth slot 1.

Re: Link EKS to midifile
Ahh well then I'm on Win XP 32 bit too.....but I don't own Cubase. I know the EKS works perfectly in Sonar X-1, Reaper, FL Studio and of course Orion as well.
Sorry not sure what that means........... Maybe try posting your question in the Hosts forum at http://www.kvraudio.com as there are a lot more Cubase users there. I'm not sure if any of us here own or use Cubase.
Re: Link EKS to midifileRich has cubase....lance too i think
