I don't think so. Dave's is working with 32-bit, but not 64-bit. Mine wasn't working full stop, but is now after upgrading to Win8. I think one/some of the audio drivers must have become corrupted somehow.

What drivers are you using Krim?

We have almost the same setup, but I have no problems with Orion 64 here whatsoever. Note that I use ASIO drivers exclusively (and strongly recommend to always do so). Unless we add WASAPI support for Windows 7 at some point, ASIO is pretty much a requirement. And even if we do add WASPAI, ASIO is still preferable due to the support of arbitrary bit resolutions, sample rates and multiple output channels.

ASIO4ALL

used to work fine and 32 still does.

Trued Direct and MME but no joy

Try to get a native ASIO driver if possible. ASIO4ALL is good, but simply wraps the Windows device driver, so there's little difference to DX and MME.

If there is no native ASIO driver for your sound hardware, check if you have the latest ASIO4ALL installed- it seems to be updated quite often.

Well, the asio for my usb card also had problems (which i detailed before at beta forum) after loading midi files.

Asio4all has worked fine for years and still works in 32bit.

Also, you cannot get any sound when trying to play a midi song...ie midi out doesnt work in 64bit. Dont know if thats connected.

seems the ASIO is switched to HDMI by Orion when trying to load and play a midi file, which is basically muting the sound. A reset to default of asio gets sound back, but only until i load a midi song...

Think you should remove my post as well, Mark. This way it seems like I've reported Krim

But seriously, either someone's doing a tedious job creating accounts on forums and making posts to be on topic with added spamming links in the signatures, or the bots these days are almost at the level of AI

That was the idea

It's clear that there's a large human element to this, since the captcha security should be too hard to be broken as often as it has been recently. I wish those links were for something more useful/interesting though

You mean I missed the latest Bot attack......or is Kriminal being reported ?

I wonder how they choose which old dead thread to post in ? I guess a new thread would be too obvious...... :x
