This is partly incorrect. Antidote uses new technology, Richard has stated that the technology advancments they made with Antidote will likely be beneficial for other future products from Synapse Audio (i.e. Dune 2).

So there you go - buy Dune and you get what Antidote has. You might have to wait for Dune 2 to get all of it but the basics are right there in Dune now, with a lot more stuff (far too much for my liking) thrown in.
