When I use the sustain pedal on a MIDI keyboard, the envelopes will not play through past the attack stage. For example, on the filter envelope, I get the peak value of filter brightly sustained, with no decay!
If I program a piano or percussive sound that has a nice decay with value of zero for the sustain portion of the envelope, it will sound fine without the sustain pedal depressed, but depressing the sustain pedal will cause the envelope to sustain at it's peak level, ignoring the decay and sustain values of the envelope. It happens on all 3 of the envelopes.
I loaded Dune on both Cantabile Solo and Cubase LE5, and it did the same thing. I tried using a different MIDI controller and sustain pedal, and it did not change. Finally, I reinstalled Dune 1.4, and that didn't help either.
I also tried tweaking some values in the Modulation Matrix, especially from the footswitch, and that didn't help anything.
Please help me out if you can!
Thanks!

Re: Dune Envelopes problem with sustain pedalCan you post an example patch and I'll try it here to see if I can confirm. If so I'll report it at the Beta Forum.
Re: Dune Envelopes problem with sustain pedalI created two quick patches and saved them on an .fxb patch bank file.
One demonstrates the amplitude envelope and the other demonstrates the filter envelope. I also made an mp3 showing how those two patches work. I have both files on this dropbox folder: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/nqfro82ym4pkbg7/vNUtKZfAEb Let me know if you need anything else. Thank you for your help!
Re: Dune Envelopes problem with sustain pedalOk I've tried your patch and can confirm the behavior you are reporting. I'll post this at the Beta Forum and see what Rich and the others have to say..
EDIT: FWIW this has been fixed in DUNE 2.........
