TRIPLET trance - how to do in orion?

hey all -

i'm hearing all this new trance/psytrance with a "triplet" sounding bassline.

check out ACE VENTURA - the encounter - #1 on beatport PSY TRANCE right now.....

it almost sounds like it's in 3/4 time, and i tried that but seem to still get the same OLD bassline grooves.

i've seen some tutorial videos where in fruity loops, they just click to 16th note triplets in the quantize section and then pop the notes in...
i've tried moving the bass notes to 32nd notes, everything i could think of.

any ideas on how to get this exact quantization in orion?

dam! I did some of this, its an old Halucinogen rhythm change - he used this a lot.
I cannot recall how to move the notes, however you want to change to a 12 beat/bar.
I will check it out later and let you know.

Now go and play your Halucinogen records

As above - in the note editor change from 4 / 16 to 3 / 12.

I like to change to this for bass and rhythm for a quick break, then back to the regimented 16th shit.
