Dune2: Does its Arp have a hold function?

So the Arp doesn't stop or change until another note is played.

Before? Do you mean to say there were requests to have it included in Dune and it still hasn't made it to Dune 2?

Jeesus. ! So disappointing for such an awesome synth.

Do you have a pretty holistic overview of Dune2?

Coz I have another question re ModMatrix

There may be technical reasons why Latch hasn't been added due to DUNE's layer engine but only Rich and Marcin can say for sure. They may just not see a need for Latch. I have personally asked for it on more than one occasion. To me it's greatest value is when playing from a midi keyboard. I look at an Arp as a musical intrument to be played and I really enjoy Latch on the plugins I own that have it such as Alchemy etc.........

As for knowing everything about DUNE 2 no but I'd be happy to at least try to answer any question you have......... :)

Ok. Thank you very much. I will allow you to live a long, happy and fortuitous life.

So....Here goes.

I'm trying to automate the MSEG1 to increase the release time of the Arp sequence.

so the Arp sequence will start "stabbing" its notes at step 1 and by the end of Step16 will "extending" the release.

screenshot coming in a min. gotta reduce it under 256KB

Hmmmm since there are no Arp parameters as Mod Destinations maybe MSEG to Amp Release ?

Maybe Mark or Kriminal will have a better idea.............. :)

For the benefit of everyone else.

I made the mistake of thinking that "Time" referred to the number of Arp steps. "Time" refers to Bars, beats, measures etc.

Here's the fix screenshot

MSEG to Amp release indeed, or even a 1 bar synced LFO if you want to use the MSEGs for something else. If you use LFO, you will probably want to set the release to a value above zero and set the phase of the LFO to zero.

Cool. Thanks. I'll give it a go. Couldn't have asked for a better person or advice.

Lovin this synth. Might be a much cheaper solution than Omnisphere because the Pads are awesome.
