MIDI Controller Help

Postby Steven_Blair » Thu Dec 11, 2014 7:56 pm

Might be a stupid question, but I really don't know if this can be done.
My MIDI Controller is a Graphite M25.
Hooks up with Orion with on problem, but when I press keys on the controller, the volume of the instrument in focus is very quiet.
I have to hit the keys really quite hard for it to register at a sensible volume.
Is there any settings / method I can do change the sensitivity (without having to crank my main volume up!)

Thanks in advance.

Christophe beat me to it... My comp tried to die on me.

You did not mention if this happens with all instruments/plugins. Is it new or always been this way?

AS Christophe wrote, check for vel curves in your controllers settings or controller software (if there is one).
If you can't find/use it i think there are midi "filter" plugins the must be at least one that changes velocity messages to max value.

It happens on all instruments.
I will have a look for velocity settings and let you know.
