DUNE 2.2 available now

We've updated DUNE 2 to version 2.2. This is a major update which introduces support for custom skins, adds new effect programs, sound parameters, workflow improvements and a bunch of new patches. The update is free for all registered users, and available in our support area as usual.

New features:

• Support for custom skins.
• Two new reverb programs added: Ambience and Gated Room.
• New delay type added: Tape Delay.
• Chorus gains low and high cut filters.
• LFO Offset parameters added.
• Plug-in keyboard range can be adjusted (default c2-c6).
• Two sync modes (host | internal) under Settings.
• Arpeggiator and MSEGs now have position indicators while playing.
• Performance improvements.
• Factory bank size increased, now more than 440 patches.

Fixes Mac/Win:

• Plugin Modulation wheel no longer jumps to zero on a patch change.
• Detune/Spread knobs have not been updating with the mouse wheel, fixed.

Fixes Mac:

• If the Music directory is an alias directory, the serial was not found, fixed.
• Preset selection via left/right arrows was broken, fixed.
• Editing patch comments did not always work, fixed.

Will all old patches and songs still work. I'm just working on a big project and would wait with the update if necessary.

For me everything works fine so far (Logic Pro X, OS X Yosemite). Very nice update and the patches from Kevin Schroeder are especially super awesome (Pandora inspired me straight to make a whole track within a hour . I just wish i would have more LFO's and a few other things for sound design (iPad remote app f.e.). .. but this synth sound just superb and i love this thing. Thank's to the developers and the sound designers for this wonderful tool.

It has been in beta test for quite a while, so all should be good. If you want to be 100% sure, then finish your big project first - especially if you don't need the new features or new patches immediately.

Also

the KS video had said:

Synapse DUNE 2 ............., the update adds about 75 new patches to the factory bank.

were all these included?
I am not sure how much was there in the previous build.

The initial release had 350 patches, then we made some minor updates growing the factory to about 370 patches. Now the factory bank contains 443 patches in total.

We compiled a list of the new patches here, relative to the previous version, and sorted into categories:

My favorite patches are the new gated patches, ihmo much better than most of the previous patches in that folder. But all are worth checking out of course

I hope I didn't miss this forum question already, but when I go to the "Update" area to download Dune v2.2 there is a large red message stating, "There is no upgrades for any of your products available right now."

I checked my username and password first and determined I was logged in appropriately... checked that my copy of Dune 2 was registered and it is... not sure why this is occurring but maybe I just have bad luck or only a partial brain!

Anyone else having this issue? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

Was there a v2.1 that I missed?
I ask because the latest upgrade has given me some patches that aren't on the new patch list; not that I'm complaining!
Installation was seamless and I love the new sounds/features.
