DUNE 2 drop down menus closing after clicking

Yes the menu does go over the top part but flows downwards (unless the GUI is at the lower portion of the screen).

By the way I can also hold the left click move the cursor down the open menu then release it over the patch I want to select it. Again I think you just have to be careful when clicking. I can get the behavior you're reporting by clicking, moving just a fraction then releasing. But there is no problem with controlled clicking.

Ah Ha I just had an idea........you say you have a gaming system. What is the DPI setting of your mouse ?

I use 800 DPI. Sometimes I switch to 400. Nothing excesive or too sensitive.

Do different DPI settings seem to make a difference with DUNE's drop downs ?

i also have the problem and make me loose some patch editing

Left Click then release opens the Presets Drop down for example. Another Left Click selects whatever patch is under the cursor. If you Left Click then Hold and move the mouse even for a fraction of second it will select a patch and close the menu.

Not unless you want to select a patch and close the menu. You can hold the button and move anywhere in the patch menu for example and whatever patch is under the cursor when you release it will be selected.

I don't know if anything is mouse driver related but maybe you could change the sensitivity in the mouse settings ?

I've done a video with Cam Studio showing what I mean but it's 40 megs. I'll see if I can upload it somewhere.......
