The knob is scaled such that you can go from very subtle detuning to strong detuning. This is a rather common practice, the Supersaw is a prime example of this, or the DX7 tuning options.

Oh, I see. It is then awesome to have the option of using a finer detune than in the rest of synths available. Thanks Richard.

But.. the popup readout when I add "1.0 ct" in OSC FINE knob...is it really 1 musical cent?. Is this accurate?

What about the OSC Fine mod matrix destination that uses a range of 4 semitones instead of 1 (as in the OSC Fine knob)?

Yes, I measured the output from twiddling with the knob :lol:

Basically, as Rich says, if you only move it a bit then not much happens, but it does get bigger the more you move it. :music:
