The site is so difficult to navigate in trying to find product support. The only thing available is for registration, and business links for reselling Synapse products.
To me this is bad practice as I am a paying customer and would like to inquire about some features missing from Dune2.
Specifically the ability to address parameters via MIDI being,
-Oscillator Density
-Oscillator Tuning
-Oscillator Reset
-Synthesis Type
-Wavetable (Selection)
-Filter Type (Selection)
-LFO Shape
-Voice Active/Edit (Selection)
-No MIDI control over any of the ARP parameters
For those of you that are mouse jockies I'm sure this isn't a problem, but for those of us with capable MIDI controllers it's a pain in the ass while programing and playing to have to turn back to the computer to change any of the parameters I've listed. The simple act of changing Density, Synthesis Type, and Wavetable is detrimental and has drastic effects in the first stage of patch creation or just playing live. (This isn't a problem with just Dune 2. This is a huge oversight by many developers)
I use Liine Lemur and a Korg nanoKontrol for controlling Dune 2. The Korg nanoKontrol, while being quite basic, is more than capable of controlling many of Dune 2 parameters. Add to this, building my own Liine Lemur interface, it is not to difficult to make a clear and concise editor to go along with Dune 2 with multiple "Containers" for the oscillator section and multiple pages for the different Voice sections.
I understand this is probably a small operation and every little wish can not be addressed, but not being able to get ahold of "Support" to see if there's a way to address these parameters is just bad... well, support. When you pay for a product I was under the impression that you are paying for support also.
When testing out Dune 2 And Xfer Records Serum I contacted Xfer records about similar issues about MIDI control and received a email back within hours (from Steve Duda himself) explaining that he could not promise such features would be made available and it was not in his priority ATM. I ended up choosing Dune 2 because it's much lighter on CPU and I like programing it better.
I will continue using Dune 2 for the time being, but not having the transparency and support as other small developers is a huge turn off and I will gladly take my business elsewhere in the future.
Best,
willdahbe

Re: Where is the actual support?Support is for problems, ie bugs. Do you have any bugs?
You paid for a product 'as is', not what it might be or what you want it to be. Windows 11 Home - 12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-12400 2.50 GHz -32GB RAM
