Waves Plugins v9.26 install ?

Are there any Waves v9 users that have successfully installed version 9.x ?
Orion 8.5 is my current version and I'm unable to see my licensed Waves plugins (32 or 64bit).
I continuously see in the VST plugins only the following: WAVES SHELL-VST3_x64 (see attachment)
This only opens a small dialog box. (see attachment)

I will be contacting Waves Support to review.
Any helpful tips on how to get Orion to recognize Waves v9, please lend a hand.

Hi!

You must use a utility called Shell2VST, search in google, easy to find. (as far as I know this is legal and free).
With this little application you will extract all VSTs hosted in Waves DLLs files.
Then you must use JBridge for each VST you want to use in Orion.

The Shell2vst didn't work for v9.
I did find another post that stated the following:

(But basically, no, the Waves plugins (or the dx wrapper) do not work in Orion)

I'll still reach out to Waves support team, along with trying different shell2vst versions.

Are Waves owners out of luck ?

The Shell2vst didn't work for v9.

May be you are doing something wrong. I'm using lastest Waves v9.26 version with Orion. Shell2vst works. Also other Orion users use Waves. There are a thread about this in this forum http://forum.synapse-audio.com/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=10828&p=107508

Shell2vst worked for me and I've just found that the "converted" waves plugins work within the Plug and mix chainer in Orion.

What version of shell2vst is recommended ?
Which version of jbridge ?

A bit annoying, in speaking with Waves Support, they don't have Orion listed as a qualified or supported host for Waves.
In Wavelab, all my Waves plugins open with no issue.

I'm still receiving an error with shell2vst.
Could very well be i'm pointing to a wrong directory or file,
I tried jbridge and it does create a new vst.dll file but Orion doesn't pick it up.

Any other help is greatly appreciated.

In researching further, I've seen other posts similar in Image-Line site (not to bring fruity loops into an orion forum) but they have identified the same thing but they allow there users to pull open the waveshell and drop down/ select the waves plugins installed. See attached image, is it the plugins are there and I just can't stretch the waveshell ?
What is actually loading ???

Can this be replicated by Orion support team and confirm Waves plugins work without the need for 3rd party tools ?
I've spent $$$ on my waves plugins and I love to use them. I'm at a loss at the moment, and have tried all versions of Waves9,8 > 6, Orion 32 bit, 64 bit, jbridge and shell2vst.

If someone has successfully launched Waves w/out 3rd party tools, please post how.
It seems some users did get Waves to run but with a 3rd party tool which If it's not supported by Orion,
I shouldn't have to use as a workaround.

For the interim however, I'm willing to go that route but none of the suggested methods work.

UPDATE: (Not working but 1 step closer)

I found a tool called VSTWRAPPERBUILDER (v2.1) from a company called Hypercube Software.
This tool extracted the waveshell-vst_x64 into a separate directory.
Orion now sees the extracted dll plugin files and you can see them in your VST FX list. (great, further than before)
However, when launching any of the waves plugins, they do not display properly

Clearly there's something here not allowing the waves plugins to display.
I'm no .Net, devops guy but I know there is an update of coding required to fix this bug.
