Special, because I wouldn't directly use them to make sound alone
They are either meant as modulation sources or in the case of PM Sine as a modulation source and/or to be modulated at audio rate by another oscillator. The PM Sine table is just a sine wave with different phases. Therefore, modulating WT position in the mod matrix will effectively give you phase modulation! Stick this in osc1 and osc2 with osc3 as a sine wave you can get the same configuration as the native FM oscillators. So what? Well, you can go much further than the native FM. For instance, replace osc2 with another wavetable.
The other 2 wavetables are purely for waveshaping. The wavelets one does a fairly interesting fake resonance effect when swept.
I'll try to upload some patches later that showcase the use of these wavetables.

Edit: make sure the modulation rate is set to audio rate in the settings tab!

Re: New *SPECIAL* wavetables for DUNE2thanks again Mark, can you make some music on a Raspberry Pi 2? (i didn't know about it, it's a reel interesting project, for school, it's perfect, i live in romania and computers at college have 15/20 years old....)
Re: New *SPECIAL* wavetables for DUNE2There are sequencers for it apparently. I haven't tried any yet, although it is tantalisingly sat next to my massive rack of hardware
Anyway, hope you get some use out of the wavetables. I'll get to work on some more phase-shifted tables over the weekend. Atm, I'm preparing some WTs based on financial stock prices
Re: New *SPECIAL* wavetables for DUNE2The extent of feedback is enlightening
Re: New *SPECIAL* wavetables for DUNE2Sorry Mark, time has been short lately. I always love your work just have to find time to check out the latest. Thanks as always......
Re: New *SPECIAL* wavetables for DUNE2You're excused
Re: New *SPECIAL* wavetables for DUNE2 (*New WT added*)Note that these don't contain the waveforms of a digital synth named after the year 2000, but are designed to be somewhat similar to them. I now have a massive database of wave cycles that I have made personally that I can use as templates for matching other waves based on certain criteria. I do this by taking the best 10 matches to these criteria from a random trawl of my database and combine them in to one wave cycle. Therefore, each trawl will be somewhat different, but should sound similar. Here are two attempts at that.

Re: New *SPECIAL* wavetables for DUNE2 (*New WT added 21/04/Great work as always Mark ! Here's 3 patches I banged together using these WT's. Thanks !

Re: New *SPECIAL* wavetables for DUNE2 (*New WT added 21/04/No probs. Thanks for the patches! Very nice indeed
Re: New *SPECIAL* wavetables for DUNE2 (*New WT added 21/04/New WT here:
https://app.box.com/s/orwu42lqx9nz8arye7ybtbs9ke04wxf1 Made from my Bassbot TT303 at full resonance, different cutoffs, saw and square all sent through a VOX Cooltron Big Ben overdrive at full gain and tone at max. I've included the edited wave file for anyone that wants to separate in to smaller wavetables. It should be obvious what the sections are.
Re: New *SPECIAL* wavetables for DUNE2 (*TT303 added 23/04/1Thanks for the Wavetables, Mark!! Downloaded all 3 sets. I'll give em a try this evening and let ya knwo some feedback
Like sucks if you blow chunks
Re: New *SPECIAL* wavetables for DUNE2 (*TT303 added 23/04/1Hope you like them
Make sure you use the Acid filter for the 303 WT
Re: New *SPECIAL* wavetables for DUNE2 (*TT303 added 23/04/1I should say with the 303 that there are some aliasing artifacts and noise from my original recording that I've left in on purpose. This is only noticeable on certain wave cycles. I kept them because I like them
Re: New *SPECIAL* wavetables for DUNE2 (*TT303 added 23/04/1Sounds great Mark
