Re: New *SPECIAL* wavetables for DUNE2 (*TT303 added 23/04/1New wavetable for doing choral sounds, but also organ and strings:
https://app.box.com/s/ay8gc3ej069uvxy57jn4nmhtjghvopgv What I've done here is to stick a word in to a text-to-speech synthesizer that can be accessed from within Mathematica and extracted as many unique waveforms from that as I could be bothered to do, resampled them and exported to DUNE2 wt format. Here is what it can sound like: https://soundcloud.com/markholt/mh-andrianampoinimerina
Re: New *SPECIAL* wavetables for DUNE2 (*TT303 added 23/04/1Last one for the day

Re: New *SPECIAL* wavetables for DUNE2 (*TT303 added 23/04/1Volca Keys wavetable based on each of the six oscillator settings:
https://app.box.com/s/wu91ijrl8fdu2az9gwhpj43mxg3cqxm5 With a short demo here. All sounds, except drums, are the Volca Keys wavetable. https://soundcloud.com/markholt/mh-volca-keys-wavetable-demo
Re: New *SPECIAL* wavetables for DUNE2 (*Volcas added*)Messing around with converting drum loops in to wavetables and then mangling them
https://soundcloud.com/markholt/tortured-drums-mh A 909-ish drum loop converted to a wavetable for use in DUNE2. The keytracked wavetable is then 'played' by another MIDI loop with some MSEG modulations of different parameters, e.g., cutoff, pitch, and decay. All sounds come from the converted drum loop, even the synthy noises.

Re: New *SPECIAL* wavetables for DUNE2 (*Volcas added*)Looks cool. Now that I'm at least temporarily unemployed I might actually have some time to spend with DUNE 2.

Re: New *SPECIAL* wavetables for DUNE2 (*Volcas added*)Here is a full screenshot for the DUNE2 wavetable maker that I'm working on. At present it only exports individual wave cycles plus a single wave file with each cycle concatenated. I'm currently trying to work out how to export to DUNE2 wt format as well...
The rather basic functionality is that you can import the first 1024 samples from a wave file from which it will create a 2048 sample cycle by reflecting those 1024 imported samples. Alternatively, you can click random to generate a random waveform or draw the waveform of your dreams. It may also be useful for making wave cycles for other wavetable synths. Re: New *SPECIAL* wavetables for DUNE2 (*Volcas added*)Here are a couple of wavetables made using the randomize function for each of the four cycles:

Re: New *SPECIAL* wavetables for DUNE2 (*Volcas added*)aside from a 'random' waveform, is there anyway to make standard shapes and change them? ie mix a saw and sine or distort a square etc?
i never got good results from drawing freehand in Soundforge, and 'random' usually means 'non musical' if ppl are going to use this, they will still need the primitive synapse tool to create a WT tho...? Windows 11 Home - 12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-12400 2.50 GHz -32GB RAM
