Dune BE 64-bit?

Hey guys,

i understand that magware is not your top priority, but is there any chance for a 64-bit version of Dune Beat Edition one day? Dune CM is 64-bit, but unfortunately, it lacks the 2nd page of the mod matrix. As i said, i can understand that it's not your top priority as this is not about maintaining commercial plugins, but maybe it isn't that much work and could be done easily? Don't want to complain, both Dune CM and BE are probably the most generous magwares there is, but man would that be cool to have the 2nd mod matrix page in the 64-bit version.

Actually, with DUNE 2 out, I'd wager that DUNE 1 itself isn't a priority.

The ModMatix thing might be an intentional limitation of those versions, though, so don't get your hopes up about it either.

I guess you're right. Still, maybe it's just a matter of moving a couple of lines of code here and there, and maybe it's possible with a minimum effort. *hopes*

Its a deliberate limitation, as is lack of FX etc in the magware versions.

Fair enough. I guess Dune CM's limitation is that the effects and the 2nd mod matrix page is missing then, and Dune BE's limitation is that the effects, and a 64-bit version is missing. Anyway, not a big deal, i just thought it's a bit of a shame to restrict the synth's architecture (which is based on having loads of mod matrix slots due to to the ability to assign the modulations to the unison voices even which is quite unique, and i have yet to find on another synth) like that. But sure, fair enough as you already get a lot for close to nothing. Thanks for the replies anyway.

Really, the idea was, if you liked the lite version, you bought the full version....expanding the lite version would mean less sales....possibly

Maybe Synapse could offer us a Dune 2 downgrade deal. I have the various free versions of Dune 1 and Dune 2 but would like to own the 64-bit version of Dune 1!!!
Seriously... I would buy it if it were not too expensive.
