I was rendering out samples to use live and discovered I get an offset or short amount of blank space at the beginning of each sound when I have VintageWarmer in the master channel.
It wouldn't be as much of a problem rendering a complete track out, but for samples, not so great. It does loop probably in time, but every sound has this section of silence at the beginning.

Render offset with VintageWarmer in masterchannelYou do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.
Re: Render offset with VintageWarmer in masterchannelIt's latency created by the plugin. You need to switch on PDC (Plugin Delay Compensation) in File>Project Settings...
Re: Render offset with VintageWarmer in masterchannelThanks, will try tonight.
Re: Render offset with VintageWarmer in masterchannelEven with PDC on the loop length is still not right. The sample starts at the beginning as it should but is now just a little too short.
7.680 seconds with PDC off (the correct length), 7.622 with PDC on. And it's noticeable.
Re: Render offset with VintageWarmer in masterchannelThat's odd I wonder why PDC would truncate an audio sample. I see Mark is online. He's a thousand times more intelligent in these matters than I am so I'm sure he'll have a logical explanation........
Re: Render offset with VintageWarmer in masterchannelI'm online, but don't have time to think about this atm. Trying to sort out some partial differentiation equations
Re: Render offset with VintageWarmer in masterchannelI have ALWAYS gotten slight render issues exactly like this when rendering with ORION...
I use vintage warmer and ultra maximizer on the master channel as well, i've always just suffered with it... Now i'm using ableton instead, and 100% perfect renders... like you said, it doesnt really matter for SONGS, but for rendering loops, it's not ideal. I've tried everything and never been able to fix this... good luck! JUNEBUG http://www.Electronisounds.com (my samples and loops website)

Re: Render offset with VintageWarmer in masterchannelThat's really good information Junebug. Let's hope that it's noted.

Noted.
Re: Render offset with VintageWarmer in masterchannelI also experience this, and have done since original version.
I have just rendered and followed the old Skool rule of zooming and chopping that bit. Would be awesome if this not need be the case, but aS krim so humorously noted.......... ---=u f o=--- /Radiation Mutant / Snee-Nee-Iq
