FM & Additive Synth

Postby vexti » Sat Dec 05, 2015 6:33 pm

Hello there,
I'm new here
I would like an FM synthesizer or additives in the style of Dune. So look and sound should go in this direction.
If I develop sound, is very important for me that it does not remain too complex and the surface remains relatively clear. Of course, the typical synapse Sound should not be missed!!!

(sorry for my bad English) ; )best regards UK

Wenn ich Sound entwickle, ist für mich sehr wichtig, dass es nicht zu komplex und die Oberfläche relativ übersichtlich bleibt. Natürlich darf auch der typische Synapse Sound nicht fehlen ;)

DUNE isn't additive...

Personally i think additive synths sounds horrible and metallic, but each to their own. What type of sounds are you after that you can't make in DUNE?

Hello, Dune 2 has unfortunately only very limited suitability FM or additive synthesis. What I meant is a synth, which relies on the recognition of dune2, but it is specifically devoted this topic.
Sure, there are already Vsti like FM8 or Spectral, but unfortunately they are just too complex
I can not so quickly edit a sound, as in Dune2.
best regards :)

Thats the nature of FM and additive stuff, its usually very complex to program.

The 'FM' capabilities of D2 are far from limited, trust me :)
