Re: Hydra not validating in Logic Pro X 10.2Same issue. Same specs.
Re: Hydra not validating in Logic Pro X 10.2Cool... are you having an issue with Dune 2 also?? I am, but they haven't approved my post yet for it.. I know that with Dune 2.. apparently there is a new version that they fixed it with, but I think I have that version and have the issue as well... Keep me posted and I will do the same!!!!
Thanks for replying!!!!!! Brian
Re: Hydra not validating in Logic Pro X 10.2@Brian: I haven't seen a post of yours for this topic to approve. Anyway, you don't need approval for all your posts, just the first one when joining.
Re: Hydra not validating in Logic Pro X 10.2Thanks Mark.. I will re write it.... I thought that there was a holdup in approving it because THAT ONE was technically my first, so I figured I'd give it a bit more timeā¦ Thanks again!!!!!!!!
Re: Hydra not validating in Logic Pro X 10.2Trying to troubleshoot I found that, for me, Hydra works fine in 32-bit programs (Mainstage 2/Logic Pro 9), but not in purely 64-bit programs (Mainstage 3/LP X). It also worked for me in 64-bit Logic Pro 9, but the first time I opened the synth I got an empty Logic-style plugin skin with a message saying something like, "click to open plugin." When I did, the Hydra UI came up and Finder said "32-bit audio plugin bridge" or something like that (where it would normally still read "Logic Pro)," but the synth seemed to work as expected. After closing and reopening (again in 64-bits) Hydra opened normally; no empty Logic plugin skin nor "32-bit audio plugin bridge." It doesn't even appear as an option to choose from in LPX nor MS3.
I just purchased, downloaded and installed Hydra from Synapse's website last night....100% legit. Last edited by obeygiant on Mon Dec 28, 2015 5:25 am, edited 1 time in total.
Re: Hydra not validating in Logic Pro X 10.2I'll def see if I can find the 32 bit component and resurrect it using 32 Lives and see if that works
Thanks for the update!!!!!!!! Brian I will let you know how it works out!!!
Re: Hydra not validating in Logic Pro X 10.2After uninstalling an older version of 32 Lives and reinstalling their latest and greatest version, Hydra now won't work in 64-bit Logic Pro 9 (not that I particularly wanted to work in 9 anyway). Because both 9 and X had to rescan all my plugins after the reinstall, I received error messages when first opening both stating that Hydra had crashed auvaltool and asking if I wanted Ignore or Reopen it. In 9, when I opened the plugin manager and attempted to validate Hydra I got the following read-out:

Any help with this would be appreciated....I paid for a product and I expect that product to work. Otherwise, why pay for it? p.s., I just noticed that Looperator and Arturia's ARP 2600 are mentioned in the above read-out. I am not sure if this is significant, but it is curious to me since, in the above validation attempt, Hydra was the only plugin selected for said validation. I never tried to open either of the two in Logic 9 so I wasn't aware of a problem (if there even was one). They work flawlessly in X.
Re: Hydra not validating in Logic Pro X 10.2The Hydra for OS X has been updated. Please download the latest version from your User account, install and re-scan the plugins in the Plug-in Manager.
Re: Hydra not validating in Logic Pro X 10.2Thank you....Hydra is now working.
