Is there a reason why i can´t modulate the rate of MSEG 1 with MSEG 2 (booth in loop mode) when MSEG 1 is modulating the reverb dry/wet. MSEG 2 has no effect here. There are some other combinations which also not work for some reasons.
Mmhh, think i can´t get behind the modulations rules of Dune 2 really.
Also, how can i use MSEG to run in a legato mode without it loops again?
Sorry, i really get not warm with the modulations which is great but seems a bit limited when trying to create complex curves which moduates themself etc.
There are already not enough LFO and MSEG´s
....and i still have that timing issues which makes it impossible to create complex rythmic curves which stays in sync
Damn..... maybe i´m too dumb and must give up

Re: MSEG´sI dont know if it is bug, but modulate MSEGs speed not working if you have MSEG sync turned on.
I dont know If I understand, but change loop mode to Key On, if it not help try explain more.
Re: MSEG´s
I want that it doesn´t retrigger the MSEG when i add notes to a chord after the first touch. F.e. i hit 2 notes and the MSEG starts, then i hit another 2-3 and the MSEG should not retrigger until i release all notes. Sorry for my poor english But i also have not synced the MSEG. Seems it doesn´t work with FX?
Re: MSEG´sI never tried modulate FX with speed control. You are right, it do not working, you can not modulate MSEGs speed for FX, but the same modulation working for Filter. Wha tis strange, if you move speed by mouse, FX speed modulation is working. Maybe bug.
The probroblem with no retriger MSEGs for FX is, because FX are not polyphonic. That means all notes must be off when you want retrig MSEG modulation for FX. If you want modulate drive FX for each note, try use FX filter and choose some distortion filters.
Re: MSEG´s
Exact what i meant. In this case the FX doesn´t have to be polyhonic since the MSEG´s just controllling the wet/dry of all voices. Like you said... i could automate it in the DAW but i would like to have such things as part of a patch. There are other similar "strange" combination which doesn´t work. I wish at least when something not work it would be "greyed" out since it´s odd when you adding a lot modualtion and then see that it doesn´t has any effect.
Re: MSEG´s
From the Manual: "The MSEG rate can be modulated via the modulation matrix. Note that this only works when sync is disabled". EDIT 1: I think I've found the answer to my first question............ EDIT 2 : Has anyone ever worked out a percentage to semitone chart ? Say I have MSEG 1 to Osc Semi Amount +12. MSEG Value of 100% would of course be plus one octave. What percentage value would +7 semitones be (it's not 70%) ? I suggested a "Snap to Semitone" function for MSEG vertical values. Trial and error isn't yielding anything useful yet...........
Re: MSEG´sFrom experiments:
% semi 8 1 16 2 24 3 33 4 41 5 50 6 (expected) 58 7 66 8 75 9 83 10 91 11

Re: MSEG´sYes, 100 / 12 = 8.33r.
The best thing to do when trying to use a MSEG to modulate the pitch is probably to get an analyser to really see the frequencies and shitf-click to fine-tune the MSEG points to get the perfect pitch.

Thank you.
