Cant control effects with midi controller?

trying to link variable filter cutoff to midi controller but nothing happens...

my midikeyboard works just fine with synths and sampler and i can link all buttons to midikeyboard but cant do that with effect modules like effect called variable filter. trying to link its cutoff to my midikeyboard but it just doesnt work... using advanced midi mode. it seems to work in easy mode but not in advanced mode..

Novation remote 37 sl limited edition

i know this isnt a major issue and i can record that cutoff by using mouse but would be nice to link it to my controller.

you try to link the variable filter cutoff from the internal fx in orion 7.62 ?
because i use a novation 37 sl and i never had a problem

You need to open the options menu and click on midi in options
Select all the Remote SL entries ( i have 3 entries )
Press ok
You should see the midi in led blinking when you play on your keyboard or use the knobs
Now, you can move the cutoff, press CTRL-L and move a knob, that's it
Use the bottom knobs or faders because orion does not manage the endless knob

i dont have midiin3 (remote sl).. tried to load drivers but nothing..
got my new novation lauchcontrol xl and still cant control effect knobs..
