In the following patch ..changing the pitch of the 7th step ( especcially below 0 ) , changes the pitch of the 8th step .
Step 6/7 are slide enabled , but this really seems like odd behaviour .
Or create a patch from scratch .
Just make sure that step 6/7 are both slide enabled , step 8 has a different note and note slide enabled

Re: changing pitch/note in arp , affects neighbouring noteit does indeed seem that way. its easier to notice if you turn all slides off then turn on 8, then 7, then 6 -- boom -- change of pitch on the eigth, weird
Re: changing pitch/note in arp , affects neighbouring noteSorry, I don't hear anything wrong. Slides up to +12 semi tones from -2 semitones. Replicate the sequence in steps 1-4. Sounds just as expected. Slow it down to 1/4 Rate to hear it better.
Try this........ Arp No Bug
Re: changing pitch/note in arp , affects neighbouring notethe pitch is defintely altered when 3 slides are activated on this end. try this preset. It's teksoniks with the slower rate and 16 steps so you might have to play 2 or more bar notes. patterns 1-8 have the last two slided, 9-16 have the last 3 slided. It is very obvious the 16th note, even having the same value as 8, is a different pitch

Re: changing pitch/note in arp , affects neighbouring noteIt's clearly a bug
-intialize dune - arp step 1--->7 set all to zero - step 6 /7 : both tie enabled -step 8 : any pitch above zero ( no glide ) -Now alter the picth of step 7 with decrimental values ( negative) -->result: ..step 8 will increase in pitch edit : In my first post I meant step 8 glide NOT enabled
Re: changing pitch/note in arp , affects neighbouring notedid you try my patch also?
Re: changing pitch/note in arp , affects neighbouring noteFrom the Manual:
Slide This control adjusts the time it takes from the beginning of a slid note to reach its target pitch. In order to get any audible effect, TIE must be used on a note, and at least two different note numbers must be used during the note. Note that Slide only works in Step Sequencer mode, not in MIDI mode. Let's see what Richard says. It's not a bug until he confirms it.........
Re: changing pitch/note in arp , affects neighbouring noteThat exact same passage flashed through my mind when I first heard of the bug. Slide amount was the first thing I checked

Re: changing pitch/note in arp , affects neighbouring noteThis is a limitation of the arp when in "Step" sequencing mode. Adjacent slid notes need to have the same note number (e.g. +5), then it works. We will address this in the future, however we have to take care to not affect existing projects or patches so I'm not sure yet when we'll change this behavior, in a minor maintenance update or next major revision.

Re: changing pitch/note in arp , affects neighbouring noteGlad to see this will be addressed. I think I noticed something was odd, but could never pin point it. Good job to the OP for discovering all these bugs
Re: changing pitch/note in arp , affects neighbouring noteJust to elaborate this a bit further, the TIE option was intended to make arp notes longer, ie. to turn a 1/16th note into a 1/8th or even a quarter note. This is why it is called "Tie", and not "Slide". So strictly speaking it's not a bug, it's just that you can abuse the arp in a way it was not intended to be used In the future we'll change that behavior to slide, which seems more useful.
