more mseg
mseg save, load
mseg release, loop mono or poly or note on loop
mseg with snap to 12 semitones
matrix source for unisson voices(at osc level)
some key modifier:
alt drag: osc snap to oct
shift click: voices edit multi selection
copy past for fx#1/#2 and for the differente module(env, filter...)
double click for enter value
alt click in mseg for draw step....
Hz value for the filter
Osc reverse polarity
Filter effect : sat/disto,bitcruch: different filter type(Bp,notch)
Voice edit/common : Init and Polyphony for each part/voices
When you select the Voices solo, the same voices is selected
A quick save patch button
Arp speed in matrix destination
A Wt editor

some dreamy Ideas for dune 3 or 4-:)

drag n drop for modulation target
right click for select some lfo or decay ramp on all parameters
(lfo with fix shape and fix freq)
a rotor mode ala Solaris or Hrast tranzistow
osc Fx(phase distortion,pwm,sync...for wt)
multitimbral for the 8 part
round robin cycle for the voice part
mseg act like osc for wave drawn(output to osc mixer, with some waveshaping possibility:
move the axis, X,Y position of some point)
osc go to low rate like lfo,lfo go to high rate
Phase modulation between osc
Some Macro with the possibility to be modulate
an add or % for the modulation
a Mod mapper

Fx version
A Comb filter with feedback
a waveshaper with user draw possibility in the disto module

In dune 2 your Wt engine and your audiorate mod are one of the best on the market,

I have a thousand things to add, but for now, I would be happy with a formant and comb filter, not that effects filter versions, but fully blown dedicate formant and comb filters . If the comb comes anywhere close to waldorf largo or the formant anywhere close to lush-101 or diversion, this alone would be worth buying Dune 2 again at full price

i have made this list because Dune 3 is, i think, in devellopment or in beta perhaps, and it's still one of my fav synth,
i don't know a lot of wt synth with multithreading, fm and audiorate mod.with unison and the quality is better and better since dune1, i use it everyday,
i'm not the dev. it's why it's a wish list, not a roadmap, Richard knows exactly what he do, it's just a consummer point of view.
if every users post some wishs, perhaps, it could give some ideas to Richard, an external view is sometimes refreshing and usefull.
For formant filtering, i like to use some bp filters with res and modulate them with the voice# ,with some offset for each parts-voices, it does the tricks, but im agree with you for a good comb with keytracking and delay rate modulation....

ps: great job with your last soundsets,i hope you will make a new one for dune3

At the moment my wishlist would be:
Some more analog component modeled filters and OSC.
Extended FM synthesis
Wavetable editor
Some better workflow things like editing MSEG is a pain now.
Drop and drag from the mod-matrix to any parameter/knob/slider/switch and vice versa.
An Arp per voice.
Let me load samples in an OSC.
There are some more things but these would let me buy Dune 3 in a heartbeat.
But Dune 2 is still on my TOP place. Maybe the most versatile synth (beside a modular) for me.
Edit: I forgot the GUI. Too small on my Macbook Pro retina. So resizable GUI and i would wish for a real multi-touch optimized GUI for windows 10 devices (or make an iPad app )

About the comb filter, i wish a comb filter with feedback / resonance or a delay in the filter effect section with keytracking for poly comb.

You can control key tracking of the comb filter in the mod matrix. Just close the filter effect amount down to zero and set control amount to 100. I agree that an additional feedback control would be interesting.

A Higher quality comb filter! Compare the comb filters to Rapid, Diversion, or the best of them all L A R G O I can design patches with great fun with just using the comb, but in Dune 2, I don't even use it for sound design, the effect is minimal, and well, to be honest, doesn't sound too good

VST3 has a better performance, more options, for example note expression, the resizeable gui is easier to implement. In addition, VST2 is no longer supported by Steinberg. VST3 is a must nowadays like 64bit for the OS and the software.

Okay, I have a huge request that for some reason has slipped my mind. The "All" Master page, it would be nice if the global filter would adjust the relative position of the other filters, or an option to do so to preserve previous patch behavior. This is extremely important imo as a sound design tool. Hopefully, others agree.
