Hello,
I had to move onto a i7 Windows 732bit from previously QuadCore Windows 32bit. Soundcard is Saffire Pro24 DSP.
I pretty much use the same kind of built, software and configuration.
The following workflow worked on my old computer.
I use Orion to control all my external gear over midi. That works still fine. However when I trigger start/stop of Orion over Midi by another Sequencer such as Sp12 it only kicks off when I change the Timebase PPQ settings (no matter which value). As soon as I confirm the new PPQ value Orion runs in sync with my SP12. When I stop and restart the SP12 Orion would block and only restart once I change the PPQ value to something else.
I hope that description make sense...
I tried all kind of configuration but cant figure out whats blocking Orion from running along my SP12 without this annoying work around. Again it used to work fine and configuration wise not mutch has changed but the computer itself.
Thanks a lot for imput!
C.

Re: Orion 8.2. Timebase PPQWhat midi sync settings are you using? Is Orion set as master maybe?

Re: Orion 8.2. Timebase PPQThanks a lot for the reply. Yes the SP12 would be configured Midi Master. Its triggering Orion through a MOTU midi USB device. Its pretty much how I used to handle it over years without that particular issue....
Re: Orion 8.2. Timebase PPQOk. Sorry im not at home so cant check right now. I'll have a look later.
