Questions on Dune 3

Is Dune 3 an upgrade to Dune 2, or do you end up with both versions? Is there an upgrade price for Dune 3 for current Dune 2 owners?

If you have DUNE2 and upgrade to 3 then you will have both on your system. There is an upgrade price for D2 owners, which I think is $79.

I thought there must be, but I can't seem to find it on my account. Maybe I'm looking in the wrong place.

UPDATE: Okay, found it. It always helps to actually log in to the Support section first! I was only logged into the forum.

Yeah, $79 for upgrade from Dune 2. Nice to know you still keep both!

I have Dune 2 and Legend an I'm very interested in Dune 3. After the upgrade, can I transfer my Dune 2 license to another colleague?

Synapse or others,
I own Dune 2, and I have been trying out Dune 3: it sounds very nice. I've already spent a bunch of money on plug-ins for Christmas (for myself). Will the upgrade from Dune 2 to Dune 3 still be available in March (my birthday)? Is it too soon to say if the price would still be around $79 then? From what I remember, Dune 3 has around 1,000 presets if you buy it. How many, if any, of those presets are a carry-over from Dune 2?

the upgrade price is the upgrade price, its not a time limited offer.

there are over 500 new presets
