ERROR CODE # 02.

Hi everyone.
I'M Renato Tarlao
After so much effort, I managed to download the full software.
load DUNE3 on Cubase, and see VST version 2.4. instead of 3.0.7.0. Then I call him to place the password, and he tells me:
ACTIVATION FAILED. PLEASE CONTACT SUPPORT;
ERROR CODE # 02.

It looks like you're trying to authorize Dune 3 with a version 2 serial number....if you have one.

or maybe vst 2.4 and vst 3 conflict?

Dune2 is not available anymore, so you shouldn't have been able to buy that

my concern is what instruction ppl get when they buy the software. Not being able to find a download link is a worry if its true....

Is this Windows or Mac OS X, and online or offline activation?

Seems he just confused the VST versions 2.4 and 3 with Dune 2 and Dune 3. His problem is a different one, however, can't tell yet without knowing the OS. Under Windows, the reason could be a (highly) restricted user account or a virus scanner set to extremely high settings, thus blocking access to the Windows registry.

Download works directly via the User account, so it works pretty much like everywhere else. And yes of course it is explained how to set up a user account after purchase. It's very simple, in fact easier than to register on this forum :) Every now and then someone skips the instructions, or there is a language barrier, but both is rather rare.

It doesn't take "so much effort" to download from your official account. "Access User Service Area" then "Access Downloads Area"..... :?

Oh well guess I've just become too cynical....maybe he purchased a legitimate license.
