Dune 2 vs Dune 3

So I am thinking to upgrade from Dune 2 to Dune 3.
I could test the demo of Dune 3 but I don't want Dune 3 to interfere with my previous installation of Dune 2 if I don't think the upgrade is worth it. So I was hoping to get some info here on the forum. Is the upgrade really worth it? Does it come with new soundbanks? New sounds and what really is the thing about Dune 3?

you can test the demo of Dune3 without interfering with your previous installation
