Not even, that this pathetic video from Microsoft is so damn bad, that the only thing you can do is laugh your ass off. The also use a Mac and try to hide it with stickers.

That might be for marketing reasons too.

Songsmith is Windows only, so the video shows Mac people could use Songsmith on MacIntels running Windows, so that way MS sells two softwares to them.

I doubt that a Mac user would buy Windows for his Mac because of Songsmith.

And two of the "stars" of the ad, the dad and the band guy, are actually the two Microsoft researchers who led the project, Dan Morris and Sumit Basu. Both happen to be musicians on the side and this product combines their interests.
..............
Oh, and in case you’re still wondering: Morris and Basu confirmed to TechFlash that the laptop featured in the ad was indeed made by Apple.

But it was running Windows Vista.

After dealing with Garageband on a G4, yes - it does look familiar now! :superlol:

Well at least the budget was knocked down by using in house talent... Wait a minute, what was I thinking! HR just got time sheets from these guys requesting time and a half AND flex-hours. ;)
