Dune and oversample

Postby Iamnevyn » Wed Mar 16, 2011 10:42 pm

I know this might be a wierd question to ask. Dune works pretty well out of the box without the need to be able to change the quality, but is it possible to make Dune oversample?

You could try changing the sample rate in your host to get a higher fidelity sound.

Oversampling and setting a higher sample rate is technically the same thing. Difference is that in the latter case, everything is processed in the higher sample rate, which further boosts the quality.

Indeed. I'm not after the quality, since i'm already going at the max samplerate support of my system.
What i wanted to achieve is something different.

It's not possible without being able to automate the process, so i'll give up on that. Infact, don't think that's possible on any commercial vsti I know about.

I'm trying to apply a specific foldback technique i used in an experiment back in the days.

It's not important, so you don't really need to bother. Just investigating possibilities :)
