Yes I saw it............I'm not that blind yet.........almost but not quite.....

I guess the idea was to copy and paste your post and create a .txt file? Anyway like I said mine has some extra entries that are not in the stock version 8 file..............
Actually I made a copy of the full file and cut out everything I don't have installed..........not sure if it speeds up boot time but it seems a bit quicker on first boot............

A suggestion to Rich. The huge VSTcfg file is great. However, my own file got written over so I lost my own additions. How about an additional VSTcfguser file that doesn't get written over with new updates?

There are some great entries in the file. GakStoar Alpha one of the first vsti's I ever tried. GalactiX, Delta III, DaAlpha 2K all of which I've had in the past...............Like a museum.

i actually spent a long time going thru back up dvd's to get the .dll names in that list, as well as contacting a few devs too to get the ones i didnt have

new ones out all the time of course, there used to be a thread which had this list and users kept adding to it...but as Mark said, Orion over-writes the vstcfg, so you lose the info.

may as well start again here, keep the V8 list and let ppl add to it

I'll have to remember to backup the txt file before installing any updates in the future. I wonder if there is a way to integrate the system into Orion itself? Like a plugin manager or plugin picker?
