Sub Bass Help.Basically the Amp ADSR, I'm having a bit of trouble smoothing it out with a big sub bass i'm trying to create. Nothing special , not thing new, just a sine wave with a couple of voices and detunement, but it's a bit clicky and lengthing the attack and allowing for a bit of release doesn't seem to help unless I use a very long attack. Is it my imagination or is the ADSR in this case not very sensitive ? Or is it the retrig on the oscillators causing it, and come to think of it, how do I disable that anyway ?
Re: Sub Bass Help.are you using DUNE ?

Re: Sub Bass Help.
lol sorry, it helps to mention the plug I am talking about. Yes I am using dune. I have the decay and sustain up full. The attack is about halfway, and the release is the same, but it is still "clicky"
Re: Sub Bass Help.
Thanks, this actually works, but why ? >< lol I dont get it.
Re: Sub Bass Help.I'm not a Dune expert, I'm sure someone else can offer a better explanation, but the way I see it, you ran out of voices. That's why it was making clicking sound, since it didn't had enough to finish previous notes when they got interrupted by the following. Something like that

Re: Sub Bass Help.
Sounds reasonable. I think I also had this problem once and solved it this way.
Re: Sub Bass Help.well it definately works, thank you
Re: Sub Bass Help. That's something I run into a lot in DUNE. I wonder if it makes sense to have the polyphony and voices linked somehow? Or perhaps polyphony becomes a multiple of the #voices.
