Dune + VST-RTAS Wrapper + PT 9 + Mac = :-(

Hi guys,

Anybody else had any luck getting Dune to behave properly in Pro Tools 9 via FXPansion's VST-RTAS Wrapper?

The GUI doesn't update to mouse actions.

Is this something I should be asking FXpansion or Synapse?

It would be a good idea to contact FXPansion as well. I'm afraid I can't help you though. The only thing we have in common is the Dune part! Good luck finding a remedy though.

Good find Dave. It's clearly an FXPansion problem then, so I guess you should use your energy chasing Angus.

Yep i've put up a post on FXpansions site, let's hope they can sort it out as it's is such an amazing synth and is a major part of most of my productions at the moment.

SOLVED.

Forget about the VST - RTAS wrapper for now, use NI Kore and wrap DUNE as an AU. Works like a dream!!!

So if you workflow is like mine where you work in Ableton trying out ideas and sound designing then mix in Pro Tools then IMO this is definitely the way to go.
